How to use this site:

The charter application requires that information be collected by each of the founders and interim board members. When you create your profile here you will be providing that information for us.

The key elements of the charter that need to be drafted are located in the Forum. In the Forum there are two categories: one for open dialog and the other for section specific elements of the charter grant.

The events section includes all important dates pertaining to the development and deployment of the charter school.

Where Do We Go From Here?

Wasioja Valley School as is currently laid out in the CSP grant application is a no go. Last week Wayne Hahn brought a motion at the Goodhue School Board meeting to support WETC chartering this school and no one seconded the motion so it was dead before it could be voted on. Both Z-M and K-W school boards decided not to vote on it since it did not pass at Goodhue.However, there appears to be a fair amount of support from individuals on each board for something like this. CSP Grant Application 1st revision

As of 6-9-09 the attached application is the latest version. We are still waiting on some data from Zumbrota-Mazeppa and the Ed District. Of course, the forms at the beginning of the document will need to be filled out before July 7th too.I am uploading only the WETC sponsorship version. The changes have been made to the Goodhue Sponsorship version too but the new changes do not make changes to that version that are not present in this version.See More

CSP Grant Application 1st Draft Done

I have finished the first draft of the CSP Grant application and it is ready for everyone to review. Right now nearly everything is still on the table and negotiable. We also don't know if WETC will be an eligible sponsor so I wrote 2 different versions (1 with WETC Sponsor and 1 with ISD 253 Sponsor). The only real difference is on page 44.
