Tonight I came across a presentation (it is in wiki format) that I put together in graduate school for my Equity and Social Justice class that outlines my initial thinking about this project. Obviously it has evolved since then:
Global Village Charter School
My initial thought was this model could be applied to neighborhood schools in impoverished neighborhoods (located in foreclosed homes). The school would also act as a change agent in those communities. It still could. There would be no reason this model could not be applied there as well.
